Super Football Sunday: Crock pot Chili like "Wendy's"

My husband has NFL Sunday Ticket, and so he likes a good yummy "football" meal every Sunday, I thought I share some of my favorite Football Sunday Recipes.. Here is our first one.. I get RAVE reviews about my chili, let me know what you think. It's a LOT like Wendy's I just discovered recently..

1 pound ( for a small family) or 3 lbs for my family of Ground Beef
Salt and black pepper
1/2 cup frozen diced green peppers
1/2 cup frozen or fresh diced red peppers
1 cup frozen diced onions
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 tablespoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Two  15-ounce can diced tomatoes with green chilies
One 15-ounce can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups water
Two Large Can Chili Beans ( mild)
Two 15-ounce can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
.
In a stockpot, over medium heat, brown the meat with a little salt and pepper.  Drain grease if needed.
Return meat to pot – medium heat – and add the olive oil,  green peppers, red peppers, onions, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.  Cook for one minute.
Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce,  and beans to crock pot, then add meat mixture when finished. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
